Urgent Opening: GST, Accounts & Costing Manager

Roles and Responsibilities

• COMPLETE HANDLING AND LEADING OF ENTIRE GAMUT OF GST, Excise & Customs

• Ensure timely submission of all returns i.e. monthly, quarterly, yearly i.e. GSTR1, GSTR3B, ITC-04, Annual Returns, etc. of GST, EOU, Narcotics, etc. within prescribed time

• Proper and timely conduct of financial and cost record reconciliation activities across all factories

• Manage all accounts payable - factory purchases, services bills

• Monitor capital expenditure to ensure they are within budgets; review and report on the progress of the projects and to evaluate cost benefit analysis of the project

• To maintain proper stock records and supervise inventory verification

• Ensure and maintain database and records as per statute requirements

• Variance analysis reports (RM Consumption / yield variance)

• Get all statutory requirements within prescribed time limits

• Closing Cost Accounting Records in ERP on monthly basis

• Liaising with internal and external auditors, Central Excise and GST/Customs Authority, and maintain good relations with them

• Submit required information and fulfil queries raised by Government Authorities

• Experience and knowledge of licensing, norm fixation, etc.

• Maintain and provide cost data, cost control reports and cost saving plans for decision making with regards to product pricing, make or buy decisions, etc.

• Complete maintenance of proper statutory records and registers at the Plant, Depots and OSPs

• Ensure proper and timely conduct of cost review meeting

• Proper co-ordination with concerned local bodies and advocates/consultants for preparation and execution of corporate governance compliance
